Essentials of Search Engine Optimization

Many people already know that search engine optimization can help a business site to be rank well and if you are rank well, visibility of the site will be higher, which will help a business to be successful.

But now, there are important steps to be done by the site in order to be rank well with search engines. These steps are, first create an excellent content, next, make the content accessible and finally, let others know about your content.

Now, if you want to be rank well in Google, you better answer the question why should you be rank well. There are lot of reasons why a site want to be rank well, to have lots of visitors, you are selling something or you are facing a tough competition. In order to be rank well in Google or other search engines, better to make sure that you create an interesting content in form of text, since search engines primarily understand text. A great strategy is to have plenty of content on your site. Let us say if you sell real estate, well write about the condos, retails properties, mansions, homes, commercial properties and the like. There are certainly other companies who sell the same, so it is wiser to make unique and original content. Do something original that others never thought off. Bering unique and original, users and visitors will have the reasons to visit your site than those other competitive sites. It is also wiser to give the readers and visitors all the valuable information they needed, in this way, visitors will tend to visit you every now and then.

Now, let us move on to making your content accessible. When in terms of search engines, instead of pictures and text, a search engine boot will see stuff such as HTML tags, page titles, links, headers, and lots of words. It is better to make sure that every page should ideally be doing one thing alone. If you have a page where you sell condos in Miami, then it should have a header that reads ??Miami condos? along with a condo photo, your Miami condos articles for sale, and a description about the Miami condos. And it is better to have some link about the related areas of your site, like a page where all real estate in Miami are found, a page that describes your company, a page leading back to your homepage, and the like. You have to make sure that the title of every page should be unique and distinctive to your site, and precisely & briefly describe the content of your page.

Well, now that you have an excellent content and an accessible one, next thing you have to answer is how can you make others link to yours. You have to make sure that others link to you because they consider a page of yours just right for their visitors.

In order to make others link with yours are by getting involved offline by going to some conferences and trade shows that might be interested to you site. And by getting involved online by sign-up for mailing list of your site??s topic, involve yourself in newsgroups and web forums of your topic, look for online directories dealing with sites like yours and the like.

Doing all these search engine optimization steps can help your site be rank well and be successful.

Secret Of A Successful PPC Campaign

You may have tried PPC marketing and decided it didn’t work. Yet it’s not too difficult to set up a successful PPC campaign.

So why do so many PPC campaigns fail? In most cases it??s because your costs exceed your profits. And why is this? Often it??s because you??re too anxious to get clicks!

There??s one golden rule you have to remember for PPC marketing. PPC stands for ??Pay Per Click?! So every time someone clicks on one of your ads, YOU PAY. And if that click doesn??t then result in a sale, you??ve lost that money.

So for a successful PPC campaign, remember you don??t want any old clicks. You want clicks that result in sales. In other words, you have to make sure that people only click when they are likely to buy.

And how do you do this? It??s all in the ad.

  • Target your ads precisely. Although you do want a good CTR (click-through rate) in order to get the highest possible position, you don??t want untargeted clicks. That is, you ONLY want clicks from people who are likely to buy. So make your ads as specific as possible so that people know precisely what it is you are selling.
  • For this reason, some people put the price of the product in the ad. This is in order to prevent people from clicking if they don??t want to pay that price. But remember that as a rule, the ad should focus on the benefits of the product.
  • Use your main search term for that adgroup in the headline of the ad. If you are using Google, Google will put it in bold type. So people will see exactly what they are looking for and be drawn to your ad.
  • Use a different ad for each small keyword group (called ??adgroup? in Google). This is crucial for a successful PPC campaign ?” yet so many people make the mistake of putting too many keywords in one adgroup. The fewer keywords in the adgroup, the more relevant and precisely targeted the ad is likely to be. You don??t pay for an ad unless someone clicks it, so you can have as many ads as you like in each campaign.

If you don??t manage a successful PPC campaign the first time, keep trying.Just focus on your ad and keep tweaking it till it works. Because when you do get there, the rewards are tremendous.

Why Organic SEO is Better Than PPC

Despite the fact that both organic SEO and PPC are part of the same system - Search Engine Marketing, there are a few very basic yet essential factors that distinguish organic SEO from PPC and make it much better than the latter. Some of the benefits organic SEO has over PPC are as follows:

It provides long term solutions:

Organic search results might be slow in listing the websites, but its listing is a much more stable and long term process. The search listing which appears through organic search is a more permanent one than PPC which generally runs for a specified time span after which it dissolves and disappears.

The click through rates is higher:

Research proves that the end users too have a tendency of clicking on the organic results more than the paid listings that appear on the search engine result pages. This makes the click through results of organic SEO almost 70% higher than those of the paid search results.

Quality Traffic:

Since the organic SEO are mostly dependent on keywords, that are selected after a proper research and survey on user tendency and demographics is conducted, it suggests that the traffic too will be saturated and of good quality too. The search engine techniques is entirely based on keywords, the end users type in a keyword relevant o their search and the search engines display results that match with their requirement. This makes is evident that the users will only type what they are looking for, and will land into your page only if it is relevant to their search. Therefore, the possibility of having low quality traffic is comparatively low here.

Many more avenues:

Unlike PPC campaigns that only depend on keyword bidding, the organic SEO also involves a number of other techniques of attracting traffic as well. this makes it double effective than the PPC. The natural or organic search also includes content writing, link building or link exchange and other on page and off page promotions to help enhance the traffic flow to a website.

Low Cost Marketing:

The last and the most important difference between organic search and PPC is that the former is a no cost search promotion technique. Organic SEO does not require you to spend any many on marketing, unlike PPC where, one has to keep paying the search engines every time a click is generated.

SEO Outbound Links

With all of the emphasis in search engine optimization on inbound links, OUTBOUND LINKS play a supporting role. Outbound links build the reputation of your site. The stronger your site reputation, the more customer confidence you can inspire. The more confidence the customer has in you, the more likely they are to subscribe, participate or purchase from you.

Make your site “transparent”; with links to quality related content sites you are adding value to your site for your visitors. Valuable links on your site show the visitor you are interested in what they need, instead of trying to keep them hostage on your site.

In addition you are showing your visitors that you respect their time by providing links to the information that can help them - saving them search time.

Outbound links help your visitors see your product or service in the big picture and create confidence in the content of your site. The outbound links you place on your site build traffic relationships with other sites; when webmasters review their visitor statistics, the “referrer” is an important category because the search engines use this information to calculate link popularity.

In many cases when a webmaster learns that your site has relevant content, they will return the favor and place a link to your site on their pages.

No matter how interesting your content maybe, visitors will leave your site, but if your site has what they like, need or want, they will bookmark your site and return again.

Get Google Ads Free Really A Scam Or Not? Read This Review

There has been plenty of mixed reactions from the internet marketing community regarding the Get Google Ads Free Guide.
Well, it deserves that much attention because :

1. It really has a great sales copy, and every marketer should learn from it.
2. From the title itself, it says to get google ads free.
Unless there’s some sort of bug or special something from google, we all know that to advertise on google adwords, it is impossible to get your ads up for free, but this is just my perspective.
I have come up with some theories on how google could maybe award sites free adwords advertisements, like by creating a google gadget. I actually read somewhere wherein a person created a gadget, then after some time, notice that he had a large change in traffic from google. Upon further research, he found out that google was placing his gadgets link in it’s adwords advertisements! Well, that’s just my theory.

What’s inside Get Google Ads Free?
To put it in simple terms, here’s what you do :

1. Advertise on the broad, and expensive keywords.
2. Then use the traffic you’ll get to entice other advertisers to put up banners and text ads in your site, for a fee.

In this way, this advertisement fee that you charge will then be used to offset your adwords ppc cost. Hope you understand, because that’s the main idea.

So thinking in his perspective, your advertisement charges minus that of your adwords fee is equal to no money spent. Don’t know about that, since this must mean I’m also getting google ads free. Why? Well, my profits are way above my adwords spent, so that must mean that I’m not paying adwords?

Now think about it, there is a very high risk in this type of strategy. If you won’t get back those adwords spent from your advertisement charges, then you’re at a profit loss. But to risk to bid on expensive keywords are not advisable for newbies, only experienced marketers and those with money to risk should do get google ads free concepts.

So does it deliver to what it says in it’s sales copy?

I consider a product to be a scam if it present to the buyers some things that is not true, or just plainly tricks them. The Get Google Ads Free title itself is very misleading.

To Sum it up :

1. Get Google Ads Free does explain a strategy to get google ads for free.
2. It won’t have your google ads running for free.

Who is it for?

I should iterate here that this product is for those at somewhat expert level, and those who have money to risk in bidding expensive keywords.

I believe this article is helpful in your research of Get Google Ads Free, and you can see detailed information here: squidoo.com/Get-Google-Free-Ads Good luck and Enjoy.

Internet Presence - How to Slash Google Adword Cost By 80% In 3 Months

Establishing and/or increasing your visible Internet presence is easier than most SEO experts would want you to believe. Increasing hit traffic to your site and ranking higher in Google also does not have to be a costly endeavor. You also don’t need to be a technical wiz-kid to realize the results you’re looking to achieve.

I recently read a blog post by Nazir Daud where he discussed how he slashed his Google Adwords cost by 80% in 3 months by taking advantage of some very simply principles.

David implemented the same simply principles that I’ve discussed in previous Internet presence articles.

In his blog post David states that he published lots of keyword rich content, containing links back to his homepage, on a highly trafficed professional networking site that has a lot of constantly changing blog content. He also leveraged the ability to post in the site’s “marketplace”.

As a result, Google indexes all of the content, and links back to his homepage, and drives the ranking of his homepage consistently higher by creating keyword associations with those links.

Note, this is not about simply creating and publishing content anywhere on the Internet.

The key is publishing content on a highly trafficed professional networking site that has a lot of constantly changing blog content. Why? Because Google loves these sites. Content on sites like this consistently rank higher than other content in Google.

More importantly, links to other sites are also indexed by Google, and as a result of being found on a highly trafficed professional networking site that has a lot of constantly changing blog content, the content behind those links are also driven higher in ranking.

After only 3 months of effort in a highly competitive space, Nazir goes on to explain that 80% of his traffic is free and his home page has a Google ranking of 4.

You can read in detail about how to implement these simple principles in my Internet Presence: Case Study - Recipe for Success. This case study discusses how I drove the home page of Search Advantage to the first page of Google in 30 days against the keyword phrase: Internet Presence

The great thing about all of this is you don’t have to be a technologist or an SEO expert to implement any of it. Anyone can build a visible Internet presence. These principles are extremely powerful way to drive any content higher in search engine ranking against associated keyword phrases. This applies not only to keyword phrases associated with your business offerings, but it also applies to the very special keyword phrase that is your name.

What’s even better is that the cost associated with this is simply the price of membership on a highly trafficed professional networking site that has a lot of constantly changing blog content. Compared to the costs associated with Google Adwords, this is about as close to free as you can get.

Whether you are simply trying to create more visible to for your business, or you are trying to create more visibility for yourself as a business professional, there isn’t a business or business professional on the planet that wouldn’t benefit from a more visible Internet presence.

SEO Content Writer: How To Find One

There are many people who still don’t identify SEO with a content writer or content writing for that matter. To them SEO is some complicated technical thing that a content writer can not possibly be able to make head or tail of.

This kind of thinking is extremely expensive because it is currently costing many site owners millions of hits. The truth of the matter is that a very important and key part of SEO is the use of the best non-competitive keyword phrases for the particular site. One keyword phrase can produce millions of hits via leading search engines. Keyword phrases are used on the content and that is why it is so important for a content writer to understand the use of keywords, even if somebody else is researching them for him or her.

Hiring a content writer who understands and uses seo techniques can therefore gain you many million hits over a relatively short time. It will also save you the time and money in researching the best keywords for your site yourself, or hiring a different person to do it for you.

Finding a good SEO content writer is easier than you think. For starters carefully trace your steps backwards to how you found your seo content writer. If they used seo methods to advertise their services, then you will be pretty sure that they are experts and know exactly what they are doing.

How can you possibly believe in a seo content writer who does not use seo content writing techniques to advertise their own services?

Internet Ads - Slow Starting, The Pennies Are Trickling In

Just thought that I would give you an update on my quest to monetize my web site and my blogs with internet ads and let you know how things are going from the stand point of a beginner in this field. In my last report I said that I was working on SEO optimization and leaving links on social web sites etc. to bring more traffic to my initial web site. In turn my web site has links to my various blogs that visitors can access from the web site if it interests them. The web site has three types of ads. Google Adsense for content, referrals and search ads. I also have a Youtube video ad and some Auction Ads. All ads other than Auction Ads are managed through Google Adsense so that is convenient. I also have 8 blogs with Adsense and Auction ads.

I downloaded free software to help join some directories and have so far registered to about 50 different directories. They take time to be accepted or rejected so that one is still up in the air but I have already been accepted by several. I joined a few forums and I leave a link in my signature whenever I visit and make a comment. As a result of my attempts I had 200 impressions on my Adsense pages two days ago which is the largest number that I have had so far. To no avail I also had 0 clicks. I thought that it is about time to ask for help so I joined the Adsense help forum and posted a question and invited the more experienced to visit my site.

The first two respondents said that they didn’t see ANY ads on my site. I think that the problem was either I had the ads placed below the opening page so that you have to scroll down to see them or that they were slow in loading and the viewers didn’t stick around long enough to see them. I then moved the ads closer to the top of the page. I got another response that said that they see the ads but they are on a bad area of the page. This was a problem for me because of the template provided by my web host. It doesn’t allow much room to move around but I did find another template that allowed me to place ads on the right side of the page so I made that change.

I know what you big money Adsense users are saying, “200 impressions a day is nothing, you need at least a thousand to make any money.” I know that but this is a project in the working and I am up about 400% from two months ago. The pennies are trickling in. I have made $.20 so far today, $.3 yesterday and $.12 the day before. I started adding as much content text as possible to my web pages and keep adding more as I get new ideas and my template allows. I am a musician and this is a music web site. The only products that I sell are music downloads of my copyrighted material. I also offer physical CDs of my music. If you would like to visit my web site I am open to suggestions to improve ad selling performance.

For people, who are already advertising on AdWords, and are advanced users, you can skip the first chapters of the ebook, because those are the basics of online business.

I really enjoyed the section about writing ads, that get clicked very often. Chris explains how to write attractive and profitable ads, and also he refers to Google AdWords Guidelines, so he makes sure, that your ads won’t get disapproved.

The problem with AdWords is that if you have chosen the wrong keywords, then your campaign will never be profitable, that’s why I recommend reading Google Cash, so you know how to create a campaign, which will make you money.

Your Website Banned By Google? Here’s How I Got My Site Relisted Again

How do you feel if your site which was previously listed in Google suddenly dissappeared from the listing?

Angry? Feel like wanting to sue Google? Or start a website called IHateGoogle.com?

Being delisted from Google means you’re losing traffic from the biggest search engine. Many webmasters have tried so hard to be listed again.. with different results, and I’m here to share my experience.

I run a website selling an ebook on how to get website traffic. The ebook was written by a well-known Internet marketer, and I purchased the private label right (PLR) to it. The package came together with the salesletter. I straight forward uploaded the original salesletter without changing a single word in it. After several days, the site was listed in Google.

Several days ago, I looked for that site in Google and I was surprised that it was no longer listed. As far as the site was concerned, I had never used any blackhat method to promote it. Later on I discovered that the reason of delisting might be because it violated Google’s guideline concerning duplicated content.

I started searching for ways how to get my site back in Google, and most of the advices I found on the net were to modify the content and request for reinclusion.

So I started working to make my site listed again in Google. Here are what I did:

1. I installed a WordPress blog and started to post several blog posts.

2. I created a blog with Blogger.com, and posted the blog straight to my server.

3. I rewrite the content. Actually I added my own words before the salesletter just to make it unique.

4. I linked the site from several sites of mine which are still listed in Google.

5. I searched for blogs that talk about topics similar to mine, and posted some comments, and inserted my URL to get backlink.

6. I posted in a forum I regularly visit and included the URL in the signature.

7. I submitted the URL to Google.

Finally I got the result that I wanted: to be relisted again. You can see the proof here:

http://www.7dollartraffic.com/articles/2008/02/16/how-i-got-my-site-relisted-again-in-google/

So, if your site is delisted from Google, don’t panic. If you’ve tried everything and Google still doesn’t want yor site, do not abandon it totally, as you can find other ways to get traffic to your site.

Fairuz Talib recently discovered several website traffic building strategies that work. If your traffic strategies suck, you should try his methods. They are available at http://www.7DollarTraffic.com
